You must give your readers relevant and timely information if you want your newsletter to be read. Provide news on topics that will be of interest to your reader, not just what you want them to know about your company. Speak to what is important to them. A good rule of thumb is to make your newsletter 80% educational and 20% promotional. If done right, your newsletter will be perceived as giving your clients valuable information that they want and need.
